THE DAY OF THE JACKAL – SEASON 2 (2026)

The Day of the Jackal returns for a second season, continuing the high-stakes espionage saga that captivated audiences in its debut. Eddie Redmayne reprises his role as the enigmatic assassin known as the Jackal, navigating a world of shifting alliances and personal vendettas.

Following the dramatic events of Season 1, the Jackal finds himself entangled in a dual conflict: seeking to reconcile with his estranged wife, Nuria (Úrsula Corberó), and confronting the treachery of his former employer, Timothy Winthrop (Charles Dance), who reneged on a lucrative contract. This season delves deeper into the Jackal’s psyche, exploring the complexities of his personal relationships and the consequences of his lethal profession.

The returning cast includes Eleanor Matsuura as Zina Jansone, Chukwudi Iwuji as Osita Halcrow, Lia Williams as Isabel Kirby, Sule Rimi as Paul Pullman, and Florisa Kamara as Jasmine Pullman. Notably absent is Lashana Lynch’s character, Bianca, whose storyline concluded in the previous season.

While an official release date has yet to be announced, production is anticipated to commence in early 2025, with a projected release in 2026, contingent on scheduling and production timelines.
